I doubt it matters which way the coolant flows thru the oil heat exchanger, but I did list the way my LSJ hoses are plumbed.
"A goes to C, B goes to D. "

Quick update:
- Belt pulley done. Need some longer screws, currently not under tension.
- Accelerator pedal adapter done and tested.
- Starter motor cleaned and tested and installed.
- Oil cooler plumbing done.
- Intercooler cooling pump plumbing done.
- Pressure plate, clutch,... installed. Waiting on one missing pressure plate screw.
- Pedal Box switches arrived. Waiting on some screws to mount them.

Next step will be figuring out where all the plugs from the engine harness belong and install them.

After that I think i will be ready to pull out the current engine and get the LSJ installed. Thought I could do that before Thanksgiving, but have to change plans and aim for Christmas :(

That does look a lot better IMO. The other one had me concerned about moving under load but this one doesn't have that swinging arm possibility. The aftermarket delete one that I saw on a FB Cobalt parts group looked a lot similar to your current design. I think they radiused the sharp points not touching the block, but very similar.

While we are traveling to family up north ( Now, I know why you all have winter projects and can have you car parked for several month ) I wanted to give some small updates:
- Clutch and brake pedal switches: installed them / build a bracket. Waiting on some longer screws to final mount them.
- I could not really start on the wiring harness for the engine. Not sure how to tackle this thing.
- Vacuum plumbing, also no clue how to get my head around that.

I looked at the steering rack again and took a picture before I left. It seems like the easiest way of getting a higher ratio is shortening this arm at the wheel hub. I made some back on the envelop calculation and this would be the gain, depending on where the hub sits. Does anyone know what Aluminum was used to manufacture this arm? I have some 6061 laying around but I think the could have used 7075.

Changing the length of that arm will also increase the Ackermann. Not ideal, but not the end of the world either, just something to be aware of.

Keep in mind that changing the steering arm length will also affect the Ackerman angle and bumpsteer. The location of the steering rack and steering rod angle should be adjusted as well if the steering arm is shortened too much.

The steering in the Goblin with the Cobalt EPS is already very quick - some feel it is too twitchy. Caution should be observed to not reduce the safety of any emergency situation to gain an overly quick steering ratio. Just my opinion. :)

heehee, He said Ackerman!o_O snicker. A silly made up word. Ackerman is like the weather. Everyone always talks about it but does anyone ever DO anything about it?

Any more Information about it?
Here's a post where I modified the steering arm and ball joint mounts. The ball joint mounts ended up not being strong enough so I made a complete knuckle which @comegetjoe linked to, but the geometries are the same between my first mod and final knuckle.

For reference, the stock DF setup has around 100% Ackermann at full lock.

The steering feels great on my setup, but I haven't driven a stock goblin for comparison.

Need some help with the Engine Harness. Does someone know what this for a sensor is? It's above the starter and goes right to the block. I would say it's the oil pressure sensor, but on the LSJ I believe that is the oil pressure sensor right between the oil filter and oil cooler ( This plug has only 1 cable )

And another one I have no clue what this is. Right above the Supercharger pump and left side of the starter. The cable goes to the lower part of the engine.
