NACA duct cutout template

Is there a template somewhere for the NACA duct kit, to cut the holes in the side of the hood? Had anyone come up with one? Trying to avoid a lot of trial and error when cutting fiberglass...

I used painters tape over the whole area, then traced the outline of the duct itself, then spaced in a set amount (can't recall how far) to give room for the overlap/rivets. I have the duct edge on the outside which hides any imperfections in the cut. I tended to cut too little out and then dremelled the opening up to fit.

Some like the duct edge on the inside instead which changes the cutout size.

How did you get your vertical alignment?

Trace your duct on some paper. Offset it in about 3/4" and draw another line. Cut on lines leaving a "ring".
