Possible steering wheel connector

My Birkin seven has this style steering dis-connect and it is rock solid. It has been on the car since 1999 and still very solid and positive placement. It is also shorter in depth than the other styles. (Pictures of this one). I don't know how it is attached and didn't want to take the rivets out of the red cap to look. May be a little more expensive.

I don't know if any of the Goblin builders have used a double catch one, but it is a nice safety feature!! My Stalker V6 has a double catch Longacre type (weld on) spline, which saved one autocross when it didn't get pushed all the way on and did the autocross run in the second catch position. It is solid and positive placement, since it has one large spline. Car was built in 2005.
