Seatbelt mounting hole

Can someone confirm for me the size and thread pitch of this hole in the tunnel? I may have damaged the threads trying to put a 7/16 coarse thread bolt in it. I thought it was gummed up with rust and paint residue, so I may have forced it a bit.

There should be a DF supplied hardware baggie for the seatbelt hardware. Check it for bolt size. You have 2 primary choices, get a tap the same size and thread as the bolt and retap the threads - go from inside to not cross thread the entire nut - to restore the original thread size. Or you could tap to the 7/16 course thread - starting on the outside - and use the bolt you started using. The harder alternative is to grind out the nut from inside the tunnel and reweld a new nut in its place with undamaged threads. This is the seatbelt mount, it's kinda important that it stays in place no matter what.
