Believe it or not, I might like to have a wiper motor mechanism in good condition. Ohio requires a wiper for street licensing, so I kept all of the control wiring in my harness. I want to see if I can adapt the donor wipers to the goblin.

Take a really good look at your CV boots, down low in the folds; one small hole and they begin to sling CV Grease all over everything as soon as they are spinning!

I got a bunch of questions..

1. How screwed am I with this broken transmission casing? Can it be fixed? Will it be fine? etc..
44073

2. Am I missing a bolt here?
44074

3. Should there be some kind of plug here? It goes straight into the transmission
44075

4. This is a second fan plug for the radiator. Can I delete it?
44076

5. I've re-routed the coolant to make it more efficient. I'm going to add clamps, but is there
any problem with the way I've shortened it?
44077

6. This bolt is a banjo bolt, but I'm not sure if that's correct. Is it?
44078

7. Does the EVAP system get deleted? should I remove this line and cap it off?
44080

8. I removed the big ground from here per the video, but I want to be sure that's correct
44084

9. Do you see anything that I can do now to make my life easier later?
44081

Thanks for the assist y'all

1. Probably not but you could JB weld it into place and then use different (but close to size) bolt/nut combo to sandwich it. Or, pull the trans, have something welded and drill/tap it. In one of the Goonzquad Goblin videos they did something similar.
2. Yes, that’s the reverse plug switch( I believe).
3. I have an open spot on my trans at the same place
4. Cut it out!
5. I would have the exit port of the pump point straight toward the HX unit for ease of routing.
6. Mine is a banjo bolt. Not sure where it runs to/from right now. I have my Supercharged cover on.
7. I want to say yes but will let another LSJ-T answer. My LSJ Evap. system is completely removed and plugged.
8. Not sure on this. You might need better photos and descriptions.
9. Clean everything you can! Extend your A/C line for Wideband readouts now. Change your oil filter before installing as it’s super easy right now. If you are doing the phenolic spacer, do it now. It’s tight once installed in the engine bay. Get rid of your A/C compressor, you won’t need it.

I believe #2 is a missing bellhousing bolt. I have those and will mail one if ya need it.

Pic #3 It appears to go into the bellhousing. No liquid in the bellhousing area. Sorry, I am not well studies on the F35, but I believe the broken area you show in pic #1 and the area in Pic #3 are dowel alignment holes(due to their size.). These holes had a dowel tube/pin in on one side, it and it aligned the case halves during assembly. They don't always contain a threaded fastener as assembly guide tools are in that position as the halves are bolted together. Please see assembly diagrams to verify this.

Super helpful, thanks a ton! Definitely makes things feel more manageable

That would be awesome if you could send me that trans housing bolt. You don't happen to also have a valve cover bolt too huh? Lol. Message me, I'll send you some beer money for your troubles. Thanks ah.b.normal
