Just picked up #191 and it's making its way to Los Angeles.
I've spent a lot of time going through Mayor West's original build thread and learning about the car. I also got a chance to talk with Mayor West and thank him for putting together such a cool build. I'm excited to be the next owner and keep it going.
Once it gets here, I'm going to go through everything and get some seat time before changing too much. Right now the main focus is the rear suspension. I've been told there's quite a bit of bump steer in the rear, especially when you come off the throttle, so getting that sorted is pretty high on my list. I want to get the DF tubular rear setups. If that doesn't happen, I'll probably go with the ZZP tubular control arms. Either way, rear coilovers are definitely on the list.
Being in the valley of LA, it'll definitely see plenty of Mulholland Highway, The Snake, and Angeles Crest, so getting the car dialed in for the canyons is going to be the priority.
Can't wait to get it here, put some miles on it, and see what it can really do in the California canyons. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for you guys along the way.
