So did anyone keep the a/c unit on the goblin lol?

If you are running a supercharged LSJ, then you have to keep the a/c pump pulley, in order to route the ribbed belt to all the accessories.
You can gut the a/c pump thou.

I believe Lonny runs A/C and heat on his car? That may not be correct, I'm not sure.

There are a few aftermarket universal AC/heater boxes which are quite small and not too expensive. I would go that route myself pretty much only keeping the donor compressor. But it’s been many months since I looked into that particular project.
