V1 Anyone have a quick disconnect steering wheel?

JBINTX
I am going with the NRG that Lonny has on his Goblin. If you do a quick release, you will want to go with an aftermarket (5 hole) steering wheel. I went with a MOMO steering wheel. The one in the kit is only 3 hole and will not easily work without a second adapter on the steering wheel side of the column.

Here was some info Adam sent me a while back:

I purchased the quick release setup for ease of release and comfort. I do not use it as much as I thought I would, I got used to the in and out of the Goblin. The main reason I still love it is the distance from the steering wheel to the turn signal. With the steering wheel from DF the gap between the steering wheel and turn signal was very tight. I would hit it accidentally frequently. The steering wheel is very comfortable and it feels good - and looks good.

Old thread, I know, but I wanted to add my setup to hopefully help future builders find more options.

I used the same wheel and quick release that Indy Lonnie did in his car, but I instead used a cheap 3-hole to 6-hole adapter along with the provided DF spline adapter, rather than paying over $100 for a new hub adapter. It works fine, but I had to drill out the 3 holes a little wider to accommodate the bolts supplied by DF. Links to the items I bought are HERE.

Does this set up feel tight? I have the DF quick release and I feel that there is some deflection around the hub. Left to right and top to bottom. With a solid steering wheel attached everything is tight.

I just got the df quick release steering wheel. No instructions. Can someone send me pictures of there set up. I thought I had it, but I still have hardware left and the wheel seems super sloppy. Thank you
