I am finding that even after my 4 wheel alignment, the steering can be bit touchy still .. I have looked over everything and from what I can tell , the steering knuckles on the shaft appear to be worn, is that a stock cobalt part or something from DF?

Drop the pressure down to around 20 psi or less. Castor to about 8 degrees. Camber to about -1. Toe to about 1/8” in. As a starting point.

Cobalt specs are specific to a FWD platform using strut front suspension. Use the DF specs as your baseline to see how it feels. If it needs tweaking do one change at a time - camber or toe. Also, ensure you have an equivalent weight in your seat as you when making the adjustments - or in both seats if you plan to have a passenger when running on the track. This weight makes a significant difference when making ride height, camber and toe adjustments.

Castor about 8 degrees, camber to about -1 degrees.... depending on the tire, I run -0.5 a degree.

for sure I'm going to need the brake adjuster, went on a test run, locked up the left front tire big time in a hard braking event diving into a turn, scary moment, but reminded me that I'm driving a vehicle without any "nanny" controls! FUNtime!!!

the DF specs were our main setup, then we used the cobalt specs to just tweak a little to work with my driving style... which can tend to be aggressive.
