Ark :D
Maybe they changed it up from how it used to be. Or maybe I did it wrong.

I kinda like how I did it better, tbh. Less visible.

Worth mentioning, received my front splitter from Talons Garage (@talon2006) a few days back. It looks good, and is heavy - which is a good thing since these cars are so light on the nose. I'm trying to decide how to finish it - rattle can vs powder coating vs bodyshop paint job.

I wish these had been built up a few years ago, before I had the car all together - it would be straightforward to mount these with the chassis upside down for floor installation. I'm gonna need a shop with a lift and a guy to help me get this underneath the car (I have a bad shoulder that needs replacement)... :D

Or put the goblin on Jack stands, then use your jack to raise and hold the splitter into place
Did you then drill down from the top through the tubes to insert bolts? I haven't fully thought through the install. Car is on stands right now because I've been focused on the engine and wiring. I still need to install the heat exchanger as well. I'm busy separately cleaning and painting calipers, and trimming lugs to clear spacers, then I can wrap up the suspension and get it on the ground.

I definitely used an alternator bolt for that tiny bracket. Maybe that explains why my coolant hose got pushed into the serpentine belt. Maybe my intake will line up better, too with your method!

I love finding this stuff out. Lol :D

Mine's been like that for 4 years with no rubbin'.

I have drank and slept since then. o_O This best explains it, but you can move it forward and back a decent amount, so you can kind of do it how your want.

if I remember right, after some mock up, I ended up measuring a lot off the “firewall” to get a centerline, then to the rad support and center of bolt to bolt on the rad support and such. Maybe others that have done it recently will chime in

put a bolt in it with a piece of tape on the head. Press the splitter against it and drill in that spot. I did do the firewall holes first, then the lower rad support and finally the front support (splitter support rods).

Did yours come with support rods?

Robinjo
No, I ordered them off the internet. I then found I needed slightly longer (by an inch) eyebolts as well, so ordered those. It now lets me adjust the rods very well.
