I used the Planted seat brackets and they work great, but it does lift your seats up a decent amount so I wouldn't recommend for tall people. I'm 5'8" and I think with a helmet on I will be just as tall as the top hoop. Haven't quite measured it yet, but I feel close to the hoop without a helmet.

My adjustable brackets lift mine up about 3/4" and even without a helmet, my head is above the loop about that much. 6' tall but with a long torso. one of the plans for this summer is to remove the adjuster from the driver side since no one else is likely to drive mine.

More progress today, front brakes are on but haven’t hooked up the lines. Missing an axle nut so that will be in tomorrow and I will put the rear brakes on. Checked all lights and they function as needed. Spoiler is half on lol

Awesome! It may just be the angle of the pic but something looks funky with your rear coilovers. Or I'm just being nosey and zooming in on pics when you just have them set in loosely to see how stuff fits.

If you had told me your goblin frame would be brown, I would not have been impressed. But that frame color is the coolest I've seen in a while. I Love it.

What color is the bodywork going to be?

they were loose in that pic, hadn’t snugged anything down yet. I’m having a tough time taking these pics since the clutter of the garage doesn’t do anything justice. Supposed to rain here tomorrow so The day will be spent in the garage. Goal for tomorrow is set it in its own wheels and first fire.

Thank you! The color is Bronze Chrome. Not sure on the color of the panels/hood yet. I was thinking Subaru Java Black Pearl. Looks black until the sun hits it.

Part of me wants to go crazy with it but not sure what colors would go well with the bronze

He hasn’t adjusted ride height with the struts yet. The bottom needs to be turned out a lot to set height.

Gotcha. Best of luck tomorrow, hope it goes well. It's a good feeling when it gets set down for the first time.

That sucks. Don't forget the centering rings for the rear rotors. I got everything put together and couldn't figure out what the two thin plastic rings were for.

Easy to overlook. I think my hard-to-turn rear wheels are due to these bad boys. Going to dig through the remaining parts tonight to see if I have them.

Well today is a day of mixed emotions.

Start with the bad:

First fire up and she cranked right over!!! I was shocked! I plugged in the fuel pump and primed it then the car struggled to fire up but eventually took off. Then it died….. found a ground I missed and tried again. Fired up and ran rough, so I gave it a tap on the throttle and the revs went up and seemed smooth. It just has a lumpy idle. Help?

Not sure how to post a video to show.

Secondly I think I made the rookie mistake and crossed some wires because I am not getting any readings from the OBD port. I know @Ross probably knows what mistake I made. I have been trying to do some research on it.

Now for the good:

Once my total comes in I will be able to go get my plate

OK... I'm from Buckeye Country and don't generally say nice things about that state up north... but I have to say that I like the Michigan VIN plate. Makes it rather "official".
