Dale Elliott wanted me to send this to you. He was one of the Lotus 7 drivers from the Spring Meet.

"Car seat fits in a 18inch seat and the little ones get to go along! Eye protection, hats and sun screen added. RX-7 good quick choice too!! "

Do you have a link to the kid seat? Looks like a booster type seat that still uses the harness? My kid is going to love this!

The intercooler is mostly complete. I am swapping out the 2.5" inch coupler and pipe from the turbo for 2" piping. The clearance around the coils works but is tight. Also need to trim a bit on couplers and build a bracket for the lower bolt holes.

Once the whole car is together I will come back and build a ducting system for cleaner air.

how well does this work compared to the componentst (heat exchanger) the kit comes with?

@Jlarson524 which lights are you referring to? The new set or the old set?
The A2A works great. I cant comment on how it does compared to the parts that come with the kit as I did not use them.

For the dominator 2 lights.

I used flat aluminum bar stock. 1 1/4 width, trimmed the ends. Rounded them to match the bottom of the lights. Drilled 3 holes, countersink the center bolt. Used a tapered bolt to attach it to the car.

I removed the insert on the light with those outside mounting points.

I found everything I need to order, except for how thick of an adapter to buy? He has 5x114.3 and I have 5x110. I assume the narrowest adapters available, which are 3/4"?

Might need to whip out the ol’ tape and take some measurements. I can take a measurement when I am home for the space between the rear tire and coilover. The front I don’t have any advice on for swing and contacting the control arms with a spacer…rack limiter should eliminate that as long as your wheels are not crazy wide?

I have 1 inch spacers with 17x9 (+35) wheels and 255/40 tires. From this picture it seems I have PLENTY of room in the back.

I liked IDRVSLO's setup.

He used 17x9.5 +5 OS on all 4 corners, with 275/40 on all 4 corners as well and didn't have an issue?

I assume he already had the 5x114.3 bolt pattern on his???

I have the 5x110 pattern on mine and would need the adapters to use the 114.3 wheels and assumed the smallest thickness would be enough, which is 3/4" thick?
I found this post and it looks like has redrilled hubs. If he used a spacer, I am not sure.

Ohhhh, I see now that the rotors have been re-drilled, now that I got home and it's on my PC!

It's fully, I read through his whole build and have no clue how I missed all of this, LOL! I doubt he would've used spacers, since +5 OS is pretty deep dished? I guess worse case scenario, I order the wheels and mock up 3/4" spacer and see how they look?
Knowing the specs of your current wheel and the new wheels you are wanting I would say it’s possible to measure and see if it will work. It doesn’t sound like you’re changing too much.

for spacer thickness, also think about if you will have to trim the lugs on your hub or do the wheels have a deep enough insert on the rear to accept them if they poke out further than the spacer. I personally didn’t want to trim mine so went with an inch only leaving a bit sticking out. My wheels had cavities in the back so they would not hit.

I used this site to help visualize what it would look like compared to the wheels that came on my donor.
