V1 Jeffrey's City Goblin SS Turbo Illusion Purple

Are these parts supposed to come with the kit? I’ve looked everywhere and don’t think I received them.

The metal plate would come wrapped in brown paper and is smaller than you would imagine. Easy to miss. The rods come in a bag with all of the shifter assembly pieces.

Lonny are these brackets included in the kit? If so I need to get a set of them.

We're off for a few days but I will see if I can set aside a few hours to make a drive up to the shop. I hope traffic is not too bad.
Just kidding we are up here right now. I will box up a set with hardware and get them headed your way.

Does anyone have a good picture or diagram of where all the coolant hoses run from the engine to its various places?
I'll give you a few shots....you can also look at my build page. For the coolant hoses on the passenger side (which i had the most issues with), I used the two OEM hoses, and put them together. I am not exactly sure where the 2nd piece of the hose came from on the car, but then as you see I ran it into my vibrant metal piece.

On the drivers side I must have used one from DF. I really don't remember which, but I did not have any issues with this side. It must have been hose 72049.

The front was easy, but I ended up using a couple different hoses here:
The top inlet is hose 70989
7449

Then used: 71796 on top, 72311 bottom, or the other war around....

I did it this way (which is opposite of the videos) because apparently that is more similar to the Cobalt SS original design.

When it comes to the heat exchanger. Use this link http://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/heat-exchanger-fan-wiring.760/
I used this picture to reference whats needed. And then you use the above hose 88352 and cut it in two. And connect it to the long pex looking tubes.
7452

I don't have pictures of the back side hook up, but, I used the part of the OEM tube, cut half the bend and angled it toward the front of the car, and it works perfect. The line coming from the top of the manifold I believe I used a piece of this tube...to make the final connection with a 3/4 connector between the two.

Hopefully all that helps.....Note: I did order 88356 (initially to put between my HVAC connections), and the other two lines mentioned above for the front portion of the radiator. Those were not included in the kit. It was 26 shipped from advance auto parts.

Awesome!! Thank you.

Do you have a a picture of where the coolant hose goes from the driver side to the motor?

I believe I have all my hoses going to the right places. Can someone tell me what you have grounded and where at the back of the car. I have the front grounds going to the pedal box and into the tunnel. I have 2 grounds in the back that I’m not sure if they need to go to the chassis or can just go to the engine block.

You can ground those to any place that is convenient, make sure they make metal to metal contact. Avoid attaching grounds to the valve cover because on some of them are not grounded.

Tony
If I recall, it was the bolt by the oil filter through the oil cooler. I think there was already a ground there.

Alright so I hooked up all coolant hoses. Connect fuel line.
Primer fuel pump
Went to turn it over and nothing.
Fuel pump didn’t run.
I’m getting 12v on the starter, checked relays and fuses all seemed good. My feeling is a bad ground somewhere. Any ideas where I should start? I have some random wires that I’m not sure what they go to in the pictures possibly the reason also

Does your throttle body respond to the accelerator pedal?
I agree with Hokie, check your grounds. Grab a heavy gauge wire and attach one end to your negative battery post. Touch the other end to each of your grounds lugs and listen for clicks or anything changing.
