Most people use 2 on each side

I used them. They work great.

That depends on the builders preference, I used a couple of clamps in rear to hold emergency brake cable , 2 on each side .But a person could easily use those clamps if they wanted. A bigger size of course if they make them that big. All depends on how you run your E - Brake cables.
