Harness is done!

This must be how Dr Frankenstein felt....

Still quite a bit of prep work to do. Hoping for better weather tomorrow so I can start painting some donor parts.

Got my delivery set up with Stewart Transport, should be here the 17th or 18th. Super excited for it to get here!

Life finds a way....to get in the way. Lol

This summer was crazy busy for me, and unfortunately the Goblin got pushed to a back burner. But progress has been made!

Assembly has begun. Got as far as mounting the pedals and break booster.

Progress 2 days in a row! Radiator plumbed in, wiring in place, ready to put in the fuel tank next.

Just wanted to take a second at thank the folks down there in Red Oak. Called DF today about some missing parts that ended up being extras that I didn't know to order. They are sending all the parts along with some back-orders asap and free! Great to have a company work with you like that!

Good weekend of progress, but no start up yet. Not sure if the cars security is locking me out or I got some wires crossed somewhere. Got a friend with a professional scanner that's coming this weekend to help figure out that puzzle. In the mean time I've been making progress on the suspension and finishing up the wireing.

Ran into my first problem that I couldn't find a solution to searching the forum; my intake tubing hits my rear spring.

Is this a common thing or am I missing something here? It doesn't seem like there is enough room between the stock spring and the frame.

Ark :D
Did you cut one coil out of the springs? That rear end appears to be sitting awfully high.

I know this pic is with the BC coilovers, but I believe your drive axles should be sitting pretty close to level, like this:

Alright....I'm stumped....

Spent the night trying to get the engine started, with no luck. Turn the key, everything clicks on, lights on the dash/shows miles, fuel pump primes, and then nothing when the key gets turned. The mileage turn into dashes and that's it. Tried hooking my scanner to the obd2 and the scanner says it's not connected to a car. (I have power to obd2)

I turn the key to run and jump the starter relay and it will turn and kick like it's trying to start but dies immediately.

I though possibly that I messed up the data wire running from the engine bay, but my RPD is getting some data from the engine, but not the phaser data so I guess that's still a possibility.

Been checking grounds and connections with no luck there. I've also noticed that my fuel level gauge isn't working.

Any help would be welcomed, as I'm kinda out of ideas.

Check the headlight ground specifically, if you haven't already. (It's only referred to that way because it's a ground that was part of the headlight harness before combining)

Also, does your coolant temp show on the cluster, disregarding the RPD for now? If not, then it's a data wiring issue.

Double checked, all good.

New symptom. Info button doesn't work, so I can't tell.

You pressed the clutch when turning the key?

Clutch is permanently in for the moment since I don't have the brakes on yet.
