V1 Josh's City Goblin - 10 XFE Donor

No worries man lol. Its got a freshly decked head and LNF head gasket with more contact area. I don't think its the head. Rich makes the most sense to me at this point. It only really amolea when revving. Esp since at idle the wideband was reading 0.8 lambda lol. Working on cleaning the injectors right now.

Haven't finished cleaning and reinstalling injectors yet, BUT I did check the coolant this morning. I let it run and get FULLY up to temp yesterday. This morning I opened the coolant cap and there was no hiss! Things are looking good!

@Ross while working on my injectors I remembered you talking about split spray being better. Makes sense, basically one stream at each valve. What doesnt make sense to me is that my injectors are turned 45 degrees left or right so that wouldn't work for me. Is the LSJ straight on?

Ross
The light green 32 lb/hr injectors on my second LSJ has all 4 injectors at about a 15 degree angle.

The 82 lb/hr Bosch split spray injectors seem to have 6 holes surrounding the middle 7th hole... so I am not sure how they manage to make them have 2 spray patterns, but I assume they have them working correctly for the stock 15 degree angle.

Well, no luck with cleaning the injectors. Here is a log and my tune. I'm sending it off to ZZP to look at since they're the ones who did it. I blew it up before any real revisions so it might just be rich? Idk what to think. Its not eating coolant or oil as far as I can tell.

Just read the log and "Misfire History Cylinder 4 - 154" is... interesting lol. It wasn't during either of these logs though. It did start REALLY hard because... cold car, cold air, E85 lol. Could just be that I suppose

I took Fozda for a spin tonight and it was a rough start in the cold. It took a while to warm up and eventually ran fine but it was not happy for quite a while during that warm up.

I use pump E85 and I've noticed some warm-ups are rougher than others after a fill-up. Even the exhaust can smell different between tanks.

Well, I had time to go grab some fresh E85 today. I tilted the car so that all the remaining fuel in the tank went to the pump, then drained as much as I could by jumping the pump. From there I added 3 fresh gallons of E85. It smoked less. Before basically every rev would smoke, now it only seems to do it when I really stab it.

Safe to say the smoke was from bad E85. After a drive it hardly smoked. The GREAT news is that it stayed 180F the whole drive. I was able to mat it and GOOD LAWD is it fast! Second gear rolling burnouts lmao. Checked the delivered engine torque in the ECU... 340ft/lbs. Thats at 6K so 385hp. I'm a happy camper hahah
