V1 Mikes Extended, Full Frame Goblin - 2009 Cobalt LS with 135k donor

Hi all, will answer and describe later on a bit more. Was more confident today and took the Goblin on a longer ride. Including some highway use. Please see attached log. I see boost up to 19.x PSI. Still calibrating the Speedometer. Speed is currently around 10% to high in compare to GPS. Have some Gopro videos as well, if that helps. Currently driving without the intercooler.

you can pull the plastic cover off the instrument cluster and move the needle.

Here is my impression from todays drive. On the Highway in 5th gear at around 75mph and WOT the Goblin did not move at all. A lot noise but it did not fell like a lot power. I think my daily driver would a 320Hp 3880lbs sedan would be faster. Pick up seems to be fine.

I am still trying to get the Speedometer spot on to make some 0-60 runs. I wonder why the same values from the LAP ( my old engine with the same gearbox) don't work here. Right Now I am still 10% to high. I noticed that every time I flash the ECU the engine has trouble to keep running in idle. I believe this might be because the short and long term fuel trims get erased? and it needs some tries until it idles correctly. Does that indicate that the MAF sensor needs to be calibrated?

Why in the world the former owner lowered the idle RPM is not clear to me. What would be the reason for that? I will in a first step bring that back to idle.

woof something is wrong. These lose power quickly at higher speeds due to no aerodynamics, but you should be able to cruise easily at 80, then push it over 100 fairly easily.

VSS Pulses Per Rev should be 29 for any F23. The VSS Tire Revs per Mile and Pulses Per Mile may need to be updated for your tire size. Gear ratios don't matter in tune settings, the tone ring is on the outside of the differential so it's 1:1 on axle speed no matter the gear or gear ratio. Ratios are more relevant in acceleration, although there's only a 123 rpm difference between a 3.63 and 3.84 at 70 mph on a 25.5" tall tire for what it's worth.

I can't view your log (old HPT on my machine), but is that 19psi in MAP (absolute) or boost? Because 19psi MAP (absolute) is like 5psi boost.

Well, I guess back to the drawing board. It's 19psi MAP (absolute).

Can someone let me know if this is connected correct? A is some sort of valve, which seems to be mechanically activated from the bottom side. See second Picture.

In the 3rd picture I can only identify the valves by the labels on the electrical connectors. I am confident that the labels on the electrical connectors are correct, but nothing more.

It seems like the air bypass valve is connected to nothing.
