I used Chris_WNC's solution of screwing a 1/8 npt brass fitting to 1/4 barb into the release port of the surge tank and then running a hose from it under the car. That fixed my mystery fluid on the tank issue that you also seem to be experiencing.

Ive been having unstable idle issues for a while now. Car starts just fine but jumps between 700rmp and 2200rpm. At first I thought it was my bypass valve and solenoid for the supercharger but I was mistaken.
My data log says im only getting 0.25lbs/min on my MAF. Im assuming what is happening is the car thinks that its about to stall so it opens the throttle some and causes it to jump up super high in rpm's.
I unplug the MAF with the key on thinking that it might run using speed density and when the conector is off the maf sensor, either my coils or injectors are making erratic clicking noises. I plugged it back in and my fuel pump primes again like it does when you give ignition power.
My first thought was that I had those plugs (5-pin black and purple) swapped around but I pinned them out and they are correct.
Im starting to suspect that there is a shared sensor power or ground circuit, and without the maf circut intact, its causing erratic electrical gremlins.
If the circuit was broke somewhere on the maf wouldn't I read 0lbs/min? Its making me think that the maf is just bad with how I have a steady 0.25lbs/min.
Also, does this style maf have a iat sensor built in like the map does?
