I will next time. Now we’re probably gonna have some mechanic friends look at it. We’ll either retap the hole or put a helicoil in it or something. That bolt was like fused to it. Left hand bits and extractors still didn’t get it all.A micro torch to the bolt will resolve the loctite
Yeah I’m confused to. I had leaking axle seals before and just replaced those. It looked like the leak wanted to slow down so I guess I’ll keep an eye on it. I’m hoping it’s just residual from when I had it out and me spilling the trans fluid from a series of unfortunate eventsNot sure what bolts you had to tighten more, but the area of the clutch is a dry area, so righting the trans to motor bolts shouldn’t have anything to do with a leaking fluid.
I just replaced both the output seals and the clutch felt dry through the port. I found a hole with threads next to the center shaft “pocket” that looks suspicious. It might be the vent or it needs a boltInput shaft seal or a flaw/crack in the case at/near the input shaft? Maybe?
I did but it doesn’t show much. The clutch looks and feels dry.Can you get a borescope or camera in the bellhousing area? Kind of odd.
