V1 Sub frame mount

Can someone tell me why, the kit comes with carriage bolts? Neither side of the sub-frame has a spot for the head of the bolt to fit into. What am I missing?

it's so the radiator hose will have something smooth to rub on. Click the pic on post 89.

I ground the square to a round and put a flat on each side for a wrench to get it flush w the subframe.

How much torque were you able to achieve? If I recall the subframe bolts require quite a bit to ensure no movement of the subframe against the tube frame mounts.

To specs... They caint spin w a wrench on them.

I used a chisel to dent the subframe to give them something to bite into and then torqued them down.
