V1 Supercharger Heat Exchanger hose

Couldn't find instructions on the supercharger heat exchanger install, I think I've figured it out but I wanted to check before I start cutting stuff up.

First of all just confirming I got it mounted correctly.

Where I really need to confirm is that I'm supposed to cut this hose in half to connect the pipes to the nylon fittings

Am I on the right track here?

Yep. You make one hose into two.
