I put a
new GMPP clutch in my goblin. I was wanting a clutch that can take more power & abuse, but still keep the stock feel when feathering the clutch. The puck clutches tend to be grabby, and harder to street drive. They take more power, but don't last as long. The GMPP clutch still has a full contact patch, and I didn't notice a difference on the clutch pedal, but can handle about 50% more power.
I also kept the heavy stock flywheel for the same reason.
I'm not sure how much extra clutch a goblin needs, as cutting the vehicle weight in half, also cuts the drivetrain shock in half... but I do like 2nd gear rubber on demand.
