We were cleaning up the Goblin for the wife’s first car show and I suggested putting the dirty rubber floor mats in the dishwasher and she agreed. My wife is awesome and the mats came out looking great

Well I figured since I don’t do many trans fluid flushed on Gm 8 speeds much anymore I found a new use for my bucket pump. Works fabulous if you don’t want to remove the engine cover if you have it. Also if you don’t have one, I bought this socket in my dealership days for like $10 from Matco cause I was too cheap to buy the $30 snap on filter socket. These things made the oil change a breeze with the engine cover still on.

I’ve been using this ancient dri slide on the heim joints. Seems to be working well. Spray on and easy clean up of excess after it dries.

Yep. The suction thingy works awesome. The filter tools have come down a bit now. :D I need to add all that to the tools list thread.

The wife worked this weekend as usual so Emmett and I attended Cars On Main car show in Memphis which is an invitational event. It was a fun event which a show like this I’ve never attended. The Goblin got a fair amount of interest and there were quite a few people that knew about the Goblin but was their first time seeing it in person. After the show we attended a second show full of LS swaps and drew a bunch of folks learning about the Goblin. Someone left us a frog at the LS show.

been a while for an update. I received the strut mount update from duthehustle93. I installed the new upper mounts last night and drove Emmett to school this morning. When I adjusted the springs I put less preload on the rear springs and it rides much better. I performed the procedure slightly different than the video and only spent about 45 minutes swapping them out and taking pictures. Hard to believe how much the sun faded the original mounts.

I think the wife and I are going to attempt our first wrap job on her Goblin. This could be interesting and appreciate any tips y’all may have .
