Turned out my issue was tolerance stacking. I never found a true fix. I just left it be. The more I used the shifter the more I learn the feel and it's not really an issue.
Ive been futzing with it and you hit the nail on the head. I had to adjust out the cable where it passes through the tunnel to near maximum to get the bell crank far enough down to actuate the reverse lockout.

You should call them. They might be able to collect the parts but most likely, the answer is no. I heard a rumor that there is at AT frame at DF but that is unsubstantiated.
