Dan, don't take this the wrong way please, but the all season tires make sense in Minnesota. Never know when it can snow and you gotta be able to make it back home. Besides you may need to take it out for a spin (no pun intended) at Christmas, doncha know! :D

So close to being finished. Just need my body panels back from getting painted. They've had some problems with the paint on the fiberglass so they had to repaint them. Hopefully I can pick them up in the next couple days.

Thought I had a steering/alignment problem because it wanted to wander all over the road. Turns out it was just the junk tires off my donor. Drives great now with the new tires and wheels on it.

Got the hood and windshield installed. They weren't quite done with the side panels yet so I'll get those back tomorrow. The orange stripe decals I bought aren't anywhere close to the right color so I guess I'll be looking for something different. Took it more than a couple miles from home for the first time yesterday, put on about 100 miles. Really amazed how well it drives. Hit up a local car meet last night and had a crowd around the car before I was even able to get out. My goal was to have it on the road by the end of summer, and I made it with just a couple days left. Better enjoy it while I can, the days of nice weather here in MN are about over.

I love the grey. What color is it? That's basically my fame color. Woukdnt mind having it as an accent stripe or something.

I’m color blind and that stripe is not the same.

looks good man.
Thanks....I guess that's the risk you take when buying stuff off ebay. Looked close to the right orange in the pictures. I'll probably just end up going to a local place and see what they can come up with. I do like it as is but I think some orange stripes on there would look awesome, as long as they match the color of the frame of course.

Yep. It needs something to break up the solid hood. I need something on mine too, but haven’t decided what yet.

I didn't even think about taking pictures when I installed these, but I went with a little different headlight setup. These are from JW Speaker. They weren't cheap but there are tons of deer where I live so good headlights are a must. These have the high and low beam, parking light, turn signal, DRL, and even a side marker all built in to one light. I had to wire things a little differently with these. Rather than running the wires for the mirror lights through the dash harness, I ran all the wires to the headlights then up to the mirrors. I also wired these DRLs independent of the stock wiring since it would normally use the turn signal lights for DRL.

DRL:

Turn signal:

Parking light: (Doesn't look like it in the pic but this is much dimmer than the DRL)

Sweet. I looked into those. If I could have got some that were rectangular, I would have been sold.

Although I didn’t want to spend that much, I would have if they would have been exactly what I wanted.

still spent 250 to get the components and make what I wanted. o_O

Those 8632 Evolution headlights are nice! Spendy though. I cheaped out and used the 8415 Evolutions on my build, but JW Speaker makes a great LED headlight module.

Haven't been on here in a while, I've made quite a few changes and upgrades since I last updated this.

Refreshed a spare engine I had with new Diamond pistons and rings, new OEM bearings and timing set, and ARP head studs.

Swapped out the stock supercharger with a Harrop TVS1320. Currently running it with a 2.7 pulley.

New AEM fuel pump, 1200cc injectors, boost reference fuel pressure regulator, and OTTP fuel rail return.

I put together an Option B kit using a universal coolant tank from Amazon and some hoses and fittings.

I cut apart the exhaust that came with the Goblin and put together a new exhaust using a resonator and cat from ZZP.

I also swapped out my original tires with some much stickier Kenda Kaisers in 245/45/17.

It's now tuned for E85, and pulled just over 400whp on the dyno.

A friend of mine swears by those tires, and I am in the market, but I'm concerned about running a "race tire" on a street machine. What's your opinion of them so far?
