If you have not already seen it, you should check out how I mounted those seats. From my build log: https://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/arks-city-goblin-187-2008-ss-tc-donor.1301/page-11#post-27862
I will check it out but I already have Corbeau seat sliders that I’m gonna mod to fit. I’m just having issues because the holes in the floor pan aren’t wide enough apart for them to properly fit. Not sure if it’s a Corbeau problem or a DF problem. I’m willing to bet it’s a DF problem. Their consistency in proper specs hasn’t been that great on certain things. Sometimes they tend to have a “it’s close enough now you make it work” attitude.

The Goblin was designed to hold the stock cobalt seat bracket with sliders and DF devised fixed side mount brackets for the Corbeau FX seats to mate to the Cobalt bracket geometry. Anything else is the builders responsibility. Like I, @Ark :D, and others have done, we made our own brackets. DF did not make the design fit all permutations of seats, sliders, and mounting.

Also if you have df mounts they do have specific sides they need to be on

No these are the Corbeau sliders designed for mounting inside the factory car. They still have a left and right side though. When I get the chance I’m gonna test fit them in the donor shell. They might be off or the floor pan on my goblin may need some “convincing” to get them in. From what I can tell the the holes for the bolts in the back line up, just the hooks on the front are wider then the slots cut into my floor pans.
Makes me wish I had tested this before I got my pans powder coated.

Do you still have your donor? Does the slider fit in there? Easy way to confirm if things are at fault.

Yes, I just haven’t had time. I work two jobs and lately the weather is bad when I have free time. Gonna try and do it then weekend when I drop the gas tank.

Are these custom or did you buy them from a retailer? Those look like the perfect size. Can you post a photo of how they fit?
They are made by a fellow Goblin owner. I will post some photos when I get a chance. They do have to be trimmed to fit, like cutting out spot for the rear brake lines and some other spots.
And just to restate so there is no confusion. They are made to be side pods.
Not that someone creative couldn’t do something else with them.

Stripping down the rest of the donor today. Gotta get the tank off and probably take some parts to scrap this week.

Also just test fitted the seat sliders. They are two wide. So it’s a Corbeau problem not a DF Goblin problems. Gonna see if I can squeeze them in to fit before trying to cut on the floor pans.
