My dipstick is secured by the original screw in the original location. I don't recall if I had to bend anything, but I'll get a pic next time I'm on my car.

I slightly bent my dipstick tube. But, when I installed the newer one, it lined right up with no modification.

Did you end up keeping the 60# injectors? Would you mind sharing your tune file to see the tweaks for the new injectors?

If you have good injector data for old and new injectors, there shouldn't really be much in the way of adjustment to the rest of the tune.

I have the 60s with 2 sets of Data available for sale. They come also with the necessary wiring harness. I can share the tunefile with you. I just were never finished with the tune before I pulled them out and replaced them with the 80s. The 2 tune files I have are:
1. A tunefile I created myself. I used some excel table from I believe Ford Performance or so and adjusted that to fit the Tables of the Ecotec engine.
2. A tunefile I got from a guy on Facebook, which seems to be "The guy" for this type of injectors.

I have to say that I was fairly happy with my tune. Especially when running without the MAF sensor the idle was perfect. With MAF sensor it wasn't as good and would have required more tuning. But before finishing that, I switching over to the tune file from "The guy" and tested his data. Which required a complete retune. That I didn't finished either before I swapped to the 80s.

The 80s I directly tuned with the tune file from "The guy" and have not finished that either. I will say, that I expected much worse idle. I was actually scared to get the 80s because I thought I would not get this under control. I adjusted the MAF curve and got it to idle good on MAF only, I am currently doing the VE table and it idles as well pretty nice! I don't foresee any big obstacles as expected, but haven't finished it. Nov. 24th is Autocross in town, I hope by that date I am having an acceptable tune. Will follow up with a dyno session after that to dial it in completely and be done. It was around 12 month ago when I pulled the LAP and installed the LSJ. I ended up modfiying, tuning,.... and way to less driving. I want to just floor it again :D

True statement. Good luck finding that for the Siemens Injectors. That's why I am selling them with my Data. I don't know why, but I have the feeling there is something like: I keep the injector data to myself :D I can share the data I have, but won't take any responsibility of that data is correct or not.

Yeah it’s been so hard to find good data!

I would love the two tune files if you could share with them, thank you so much. I’ve already got the injectors from ZZP.

I really haven't looked, but is there something about the ecotec that pushes everyone to the siemens injectors beyond price?

I would say no. I can't say anything bad over the Siemens injector. They do what they are supposed to and I'm happy with them.

Street tuning is really cumbersome. It's almost impossible to find all fields of the ve table, but I guess it doesn't really matter, since I'm always driving in the same area.

Semi finished the tune this weekend. Idle is ok, no knock and overall a bit to rich, but ready for driving around and heading to the dyno.

It's almost 1 year ago that I started the engine swap. Feels good to be done with it.

Is this snake oil? What can I gain with larger gaps,...?

Bigger spark, better burn in the combustion chamber. But a bigger spark can be more affected by blowout - forced induction can actually reduce the effectiveness of the spark. Increasing the spark voltage can make it less susceptible to blowout (think lightning ).

I have heard nothing but bad news about the zzp coil packs. Stories of guys replacing packs once a month and going back to stock or other brands and regretting the decision to go red in the first place.

Same. The recommendation I see from tuners not trying to sell something is to stick with GM.

I had a set and couldn’t tell any difference. Went back to OEM and still couldn’t tell a difference.
Only reason I tried them was they were cheap on one of the FB Ecotec groups.
