I wonder if he has the file saved could make things easier for other goblin owners that come his way.. did he give you an approx hp increase? The tune I had advertised 35ish at 25-26 lbs, stock everything.

He didnt say but it was a world of difference. The pcm they sell already tuned for the lnf is 40whp and 80ft/lb it says.

Just got the goblin weighed, the scale kept bouncing from 1480-1500.. ultimately they called it 1500lbs. It was missing one seat and the side panels.. this is much lighter than I expected! Appointment set for April 11th to get the vin inspection and hopefully have it fully street legal..

First rear test drive, when to fill up with fuel, I definitely need an alignment and also ear plugs! The induction sound is intense almost painful! So stoked!

Just learned My build will require a windshield wiper!!! I saw others on the forum with the same issue. I was worried until i came across the Sea-dog manual windshield wiper. Easy fix! $40, just need to come up with a soft spacer so it doesn't scratch the windshield while its on the car for one whole day! If anybody needs one after I am registered, PM me and we can just pass it around the country and get everyone legal!

Was worried about a sticking thermostat. Drivers side never seemed to get hot like the passenger side.. borrowed a buddies obd gauge to finally test the coolant system.. and also to see if the fan would kick in.

My fan kicks in around 203-205! Brings temp back down to 196 ish! Everything seems to be working as it should.. it takes a long time for these cars to warm up.. it has been idling for 30 mins.

Yeah, it takes forever when idling. What's your normal driving temp? Mine never seem to go above 189 degrees.

I think my fan has maybe come on twice the whole time I’ve had it. And I have a watercooled turbo heating everything up. 178 on the street is normal for me.

Here are a few updated pics of the car... the hood is actually zip tied in place for now as I was having some difficulties getting it to line up.. with my seat pulled forward it seems like I should have room to fit a small bag behind the driver.. I was surprised that there is actually less room behind the passenger seat as the seat hits the plastic bracket of the shifter when trying to slide the seat all the way forward. I used a small piece of wood to mount the manual windshield wiper. Should be good enough to pass inspection. One thing that I noticed is my gauge cluster does not light up..? I am hoping that this will be fixed once I install the button panels.. but I may need to check my wiring.

I'd check your wiring. Make sure one of your brown park light wires runs up to the BCM to X3/A7 connector. The schematic for the gauge cluster lighting shows that wire so maybe it has something to do with it.

Does anything light up on your gauge cluster or is it just the back lighting that does not work.

I thought it was a gray wire that powers the back lighting. I could be wrong.

Also you should check your fuses.

It is a the gray wire that actually powers up the gauge cluster lights. But my thought was maybe the brown wire had something to do with it since it's mentioned on the schematic for the gauge lighting.

The info center works it’s just the backlight that is not working.. I will check the wiring here in just a bit
