I was going to use the same nylon line that I used (supplied) for the brake reservoir relocation. It is very thin walled tubing and there are tricks to installing it. I was not able to push it on with just my hands. I ended up using FI-rated (100psi+) rubber hose and FI clamps. There are drawbacks to both setups. Nylon is great and cheap and thin, but I don't like how it seems prone to kinking. I suspect it may be less abrasion resistant as well.Ok, still working on the grounds.
Can anyone school me on the fuel line from the fuel rail to the fuel filter? I have a bag that says fuel line hardware with two fuel line end connections with barbs on other ends. I small piece of aluminum tubing and one small coated clamp. How are people making the line from this? Was line supplied?
Thanks!
The easiest way to check the starter on the vehicle is to use jumper cables to bypass the vehicle's electrical system. With the ignition turned off and the transmission in "park" -- and with all due care -- connect one end of the red/positive jumper cable to the positive terminal of the battery. Touch the other end of the red cable to the positive terminal on the starter motor. The starter should spin/crank the engine. If it does, the problem is with the cables, connections or relay. If it doesn't, crank the engine, connect the black/negative jumper cable as a ground between the drivetrain and negative terminal of the battery. Touch the red cable to the starter's positive terminal. If the starter cranks the engine, the problem is a bad chassis ground.
Yes shorter tie rod ends go on front. Original ones get used in the backRegarding front suspension. When i installed the arms, uprights, and shocks and then connect the rack and pinion arms to the uprights i have one upright straight and the other off by ~35 degrees from straight. I sent adam an email but im sure hes busy. Are we supposed to swap out the R&P arms with shorter arms? I do have some steering boxes with parts that im not sure what there for... didnt see their use in the videos.
Thanks! BTW, i tried turning the adjustments on the arms but they are STUCK solid and dont want to move.
