V1 Pisco's extended city goblin #220 (2009 SS/TC donor) Registered

Rttoys
I mentioned the cabins a few of us are staying in, in the other thread and will reiterate anywhere in town is good. It’s a small tourist town.

as far as trailer and towing. The doughnut spares are hard to come by, but you can find them. I use 1 for mine to get the goblin in my toyhauler. You could also rent a trailer or flat tow. Many here flat tow without issues. You can park the trailers At Lonny’s for the duration of goblinfest too.

DO NOT DRILL INTO THE BOTTOM FRAME RAIL!!! I know this has been posted numerous times before, but it still happens.

I had planned on welding a couple tabs to the tube before pulling hoses but didn't get it done, 3M VHB tape was considered but ... I want to be able to non destructively remove side panels for various reasons...
A little single sided foam tape and rivnuts where I can should be fine.

On a more serious note honest thoughts on using the donor heater core as a second heat exchanger for the intercooler?

I taped the entire panel in place with painters tape and marked my holes for rivnuts. Before installing the panel I stuck foam gasket on the larger diameter parts of the frame that would come in contact with the side panel, you can buy it from Walmart, and bolted it on. Worked like a charm and doesn’t rattle at all. There is a bit of flex in the panel either caused by my poor alignment (most likely) or just the nature of the fitting, BUT no rattle with the foam gasket.

Let me clarify.
I hate that area of the car. Don't actually screw that area.

Very cramped and a lot of potential big problems from anything being a little bit not perfect…
I will be making some sort of bracket to secure the hose and keep it off of the alternator and fuel tank

Not sure if this was the intended purpose but there were two clamps in my kit that I used for this purpose

Are you guys not watching the build videos?!

I kid, this was only very recently posted!

lol I ran mine mor to the interior behind the alternator. dumn mistake i guess I was going to 3D print a standoff to tie wrap or hose clamp to the fuel tank strap or a bracket off the alternator bolt itself...

I found some Camry 16" steel wheels on The Facebook Marketplace for like $75. I'm planning to use those to flat tow mine to Goblinfest this year with those and then swap to my 200tw set once arriving in town. I'm hoping to keep an extra 700 miles off my good tires.

I've not had an issue flat towing mine other than getting down poured on once for the last 20 minutes of a trip. It can also store extra things like tools as a trailer.

I did a thing today,
GoblinDyno80F76Humid20250816.jpg

Had the boost gauge sitting at 24PSI the whole pull, It started to get hot I wish I would have been better prepared and brought my laptop to do a data log. I'm really curious how hot the iat2 was getting with that long of a pull.
It is significantly less power than I was led to believe I would end up with but I'm not mad about where it landed.
With the traction problems I'm having more power isn't the answer to anything.

A second heat exchanger for the intercooler loop, Park brake handle and cables, and side panels need to happen this weekend.

I have proof the Goblin can fit in the trailer.

The donuts fit past the cables on the liftgate but not through the door.
I had to jack it up and set it on a 4 wheel dolly, I then jacked it up again and set the frame on a 4' 8x8 (not the block in the picture, that was a tire chock while I grabbed the jack...)

Mamas Tahoe grew something in the A/C evap and it was smelling like Vinegar cleaning that out took the bulk of todays "free time" I laugh because it's never free and sometimes not worth it..
It was 96 with a heat index of 107 today, not fun to cruise in.

Healthy for RWHP and Torque! These figures are nothing to sneeze at and are probably pretty good, given the temperatures you believe were occurring. :D
And those Flintstone tires will help (get on the trailer, not with the traction problem). ;)

One of these? Supposed to be good for another 40-50HP (I'm sure that's at the crankshaft) and it will still look 100% stock.

And it only costs about 1 arm, you can keep the leg. :p
