I kept the donor check valve and will use new hose (3/8?) to connect the two (old hose dry rots in the desert) - making certain the air flow arrow points toward the engine.
So you reused the braided metal line with the fuel line type connection where it connects in the engine by the turbo then just extended it with the 3/8" hose to the intake?I kept the donor check valve and will use new hose (3/8?) to connect the two (old hose dry rots in the desert) - making certain the air flow arrow points toward the engine.
I took the braded line off the check valve and used new fuel line connectors and hoses on each end.So you reused the braided metal line with the fuel line type connection where it connects in the engine by the turbo then just extended it with the 3/8" hose to the intake?
I've done that already as my temporary fix but if.you look closely you can see the tape. Nobody else will notice it likely, but it bugs me.Pulling the cover and putting electrical tape over the offending lights takes all of 10 minutes. You don't even have to take the cluster off the car.
And yes, this is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!Took some pics today of what I ended up doing on that check valve incase you're still unclear:
