V1 Stretch’s ext. track goblin #386 SS/TC

Some of your logs do show CL-Normal, so it is possible that it's getting outside of what it expects on the trims and then faulting. I sent some info in a reply to your PM, but the -90% trim is including a value for B2 which you don't have. HPT will give you channels that you don't really have and return some bogus value. Never run channels/pids you don't have.

The newer HPT scanner software handles trouble codes a little different than the older version I normally run, and I'm not sure if the log is recording them anymore. So hard to say what is setting the CL-Fault. But i think this doesn't mean it's not in CL. Instead, it is in CL but thinks there may be a problem with it or has no way to confirm it is correct.

I’m going to try to run the car with right channels tomorrow and see if I can get it closer if it doesn’t rain. If anything see if the percent gets closer.

Finally got the tune close to sorted out. Dyno runs are pretty fun picked up 20 horse with a little less boost and bumped timing a bit up top. Peak power is about 5500 but it only drops 2-3 hp up to 6100. It doesn’t feel like it falls off now.

For best results disassemble slowly and methodically. May want to check for broken ring before disassembly. With bore scope recheck top of piston above the top ring land. Engine doesn't have to lose much there before top ring will not seal.

Valve spring let go on the exhaust side. They’re only a month old and I was easy on them the first couple rides. Installed heights were all close so I’m not sure if it was just a lucky one. Now trying to find out if the valve is bent, burnt, or seat is knocked.

The time has come for the ko4 to step aside. Got a very slightly used Zfr 6758 from a friend and stayed up late putting it on. Where I’m at in Florida we are going to see rain everyday for a while so tuning and driving won’t happen yet, but hopefully in a few weeks it will be close.

Had a blast at Daytona. Fresh pavement, slicks, and a tune that sorta works pushed me to fast time of the day. I hit limiter on the straight going 65+ which I’ve never done before there. Also had some tire shake under hard braking in the front so I’ll need to look for a fix for that, but glad the car works now.

Have you messed with the brakes? Have a prop valve and such? Or did you do the JR setup?
I have a prop valve and adjusted it but they still shook hard at high speed. Stiffened the front shocks a little and still did it. I need to do a brake/clutch fluid flush but I think it could be alignment problems.
Is the JR setup the floating rotors?

Just a quick checklist.
Adjust prop valve till the rears lock first then back it off a tad so fronts lock first. you get it just right and it’s an almost simultaneous with the front ahead of the rear.
flush is always good, especially if running a lot of track/autocross
alignment could be an issue
at autocross my fronts are 2 clicks from max, but I turn them way down for street and don’t have shake. Weird.

ya. His are the floating rotors. the few of us that have them are having several problems with them because our cars are not modified exactly like his. I got a bad shake, but have corrected it (kind of my fault). They are very aggressive, but tons of stopping power and loss of weight, which is all I was after. Now trying to dial it in better, which is posing a different challenge. Autocross was …….interesting for me yesterday to say the least
