Congrats! Your Goblin looks great and it drives!!! :D Now that you have the basics, you can upgrade to your hearts (and wallets) content. I am no where near getting anything assembled yet, but hope to be able to post a walk around and drive videos someday.

Thanks. It's still very much a work-in-progress car but it's great already to just drive it around the neighborhood.

Here's hoping you get to post your videos at an advantageous time, DS.

It's not easy to fit goblin-assembly work into an already-crowded schedule so be patient.

We were fortunate to obtain a well-maintained, low-mileage donor. A nearly-new set of Pirelli tires and very good SS/bucket seats were both happy surprises when it arrived here in TX (from MA). The motor, thankfully, needed nothing but a good cleaning and a coat of paint (compression test = 205, 210, 205, 205).

Happy New Year.

What to do when one's other recreation options are shut down and one isn't out actually driving the car?

Hmm, there's that button panel that's been sitting on a shelf for several months. (attaboy to consortium member #2)

Note the full tank of (93-octane) gas. Probably won't last that long.

You have a body now!
I'm frame #121. What's your frame is yours? I think our frames we built around the same time.

Inching closer to a registration sticker, made it to the scale this weekend. 1580lbs. It looks like we'll need insurance before the state inspection so I'm hoping to crowd source some options. If some of y'all are willing to share your insurance provider, please feel free to message me.

Cheers

Beautiful weather finally came to south Texas along with a parking brake kit. Got the driver's side sorted out, gotta break it back down and paint. Funny thought when starting the parking brake: "Ok, gotta get the car up on jack stands. Safety first, probably should chock the tires and set the parking brake....."

Happy fall y'all!
