V2 Will there be a topless version of the V2?

I am currently researching and really into goblin v2 at this point, my main purpose will be tracking/autocross.
I am wondering if there ever will be a topless version like many of the V1? I am a fan of the smooth looking. Or alternatively put bars directly from the bottom of the windshield to the upper back to avoid the box looking cabin?

I raced a half a season of autocross with an open goblin, but some tracks started giving me a hard time passing tech inspection and long tracks told me I needed a full track cage. As you go to bigger events, they follow the rules more, arm restraints, fire bottle, electrical cut off, boots, gloves, track suit, etc.

I think it depends on the region. In CA they typically only require a 4 point (half cage/roll bar) for track days/HPDE's. Full cages, wrist restraints, fire suppression, kill switches, suits, etc, are only required for W2W and competition events in higher classes.

Regardless of requirements, you should really consider prioritizing safety over everything else.

Justin's not so graceful bad encounter with a previous racer's fluid polluting the track past the finish line. This is visual evidence why you cannot have enough steel around you when that bad day happens!

Is half cage allowed on "open" vehicles or just "normal production" type vehicles?

I might would do an autocross with a "street" version, but no way I would do a full track or even much street driving with a "street" version.

The video of Justin's rollover is what prompted me to order the full cage conversion. Hard to imagine that ends the same with just the standard hoop.

Visually I like the city frame over the track frame. Safety wise, I’d only do track frame. I have driven one city framed goblin and I felt more safe on my motorcycle.

All I imagine is rear ending a semi trailer and not having bars to protect you….
