So just a little update in my stripping my doner so up to the point that I have to remove the subframe bolts and they just keep on spinning did this happen to anyone my guess is I'm going to try to see if I can fit a blade between arm and frame and cut bolt out


And just a little suggestion to anyone buying a donor try to stay away from rust buckets like mine its not fun

PB Blaster or other penetrating oils will help a lot if you hit them days before. I didn't have much of a problem surprisingly because it had a lot of corrosion on it. I hit all of the exhaust bolt with penetrating oil and left it on there for at least a week before I even tried and much to my amazement, they came right off without any fuss.

It does suck to have to fight those bolts.

Finally it only took me 3 hr for 2 welded on bolts and 5 blades:mad: but I finally dropped the engine :D

I'm also using alldatadiy.com for model year specific stuff. It's like $15/yr and has been very useful so far. I was skeptical about it but it's been worth it.

Is it for a specific year and model because I have a 08 SS/TC not sure if it is Different berween years

The alldatadiy.com is year and model specific. I bought the subscription to my 05 SS/SC, so I can't look up stuff for an 08 SS/TC.

So I'm looking to start stripping the rear Tomorrow but I have a question about video 8 towards the end when they take the fuel pump out of the tank he mentioned that if the car was a low emission car that the pump is stuck to the bottom and you will have to buy a new pump.
So first how do I know if car is a low emission car? And if it is do i have to do anything different? Besides buying a new pump for a SS/TC does anyone know of a part number don't want to order the wrong pump

I'm not positive, but I think those low emissions cars had the xfe logo on the trunk lid... Adam can probably verify that.

So I Subscribed to alldatadiy.com but I thought it was like a service manual and mybe I'm not using right but there are only Certain thing that show up

I did not have XFE on the trunk lid
Look for NU6 on the trunk sticker

So what kind of trans is that because I know about the f35
