What's going on at DFKC today?


Stewart Transport arrived sometime last night & loaded 4 kits this morning, headed home to some of y'all. The driver is resetting his hours & should be departing sometime tomorrow. In the mean time, his trailer is here & he's trying out some local BBQ. Texas makes THE best BBQ around!

Tomorrow we're looking forward to meeting Mike, a possible new Goblin Family member who has been trying his hardest to get out here for the last 2 months or so but calendars kept clashing. It looks like tomorrow may be the day where he finally makes it by! We'll always make time for you guys when you want to come by, if at all possible.

Will DFKitCars ever sell the raw chassis parts for costumers to weld themselves? Personally I'd get prewelded but I think it's something DF can offer that will not only get kits out slightly faster (the unwelded that is) and has a little something for those who want to have more hands on experience with their kits

That would be difficult to do with out having a Jig.

Hey Anthony, thanks for your question!

We think our 12 - 13 weeks is fast. In fact, it's MUCH faster than any other kit company at this point. Our goal is to get that time frame lower & we have things going into place to do our best to make it happen.

As far as selling raw chassis parts & allowing customers to have a "more hands on experience"? A jig would definitely be a requirement not to mention how we sell our kits as no fabrication required. It's one of our biggest sales points.

Random side note about Miracle Rounds, while the patent for them has long expired, the company that held the patent is still in business making commercial playground equipment.
