Guys, what insurance companies are you going through?
I used my local state farm agent that I have all of my other policies through. Just had to send an email with pictures a written description with estimated HP. I didn't have any issues getting it insured.

Ok. I want to get some quotes. AAA recently switched kit cars to there brokered division and was told it will be more expensive
State farm for me wasn't even in the realm of pricing that rally gave me. My experience with rally went smooth compared to some on the boards here but I think it's worth the time to check them out

I have Grundy for my Camaro and they were the first insurance company I called, but they told me they would not insure the Goblin. Who did you speak to over at Grundy?

I went through an independent agency; I submitted pictures of the full car and where it would be stored. Maybe try going through someone else. For example, I know others are insured with Hagerty but when I called them directly, they told me they would insure it until I put the key in the ignition.

How about I come out and we can take the little guy into the garage and show him the ropes
I gotta tell ya, as a Dad and Grand Pa, they're never too young to learn in the garage! Well actually ya might wait until they are 2. They ARE little sponges and learn new stuff in amazing ways but I'd have to say under 2, naah. There is a load of basic "Don't touch the hot stove" ideas they need to work through first! But they do like fire and sparks flying! So bring them up right and carefully.:cool: (This post is Momma/ Grand Ma Cici approved.)
