Hi all, just joined to express my interest in this as well. Always wanted to do a kit car and it's been a while since I had a big car project, so maybe the time is now. I've also been pretty involved with several MK7/Simos18 tuning efforts and eager to dig into that aspect as well. If I can be of any help for development and testing, please let me know.

Lonny set a V1 hood on the prototype, as he didn't have the V2 hood yet. That back of the car is still naked frame.
He said that this is the second V2 frame, as the first V2 frame was revised so much, that he started over.
It is coming along nicely!

Great to see it on the road!

I've been getting pretty excited about all of this, being patient sucks.

I think I've mostly figured out a good immo off solution for the ECU and TCU that is pretty much free and happy to share with everyone. If the donor car mostly works, should be able to flash it all on the donor over OBD port and not require any sort special flashing tools or cracking the ECU open etc.

The V2 is currently using the DSG automatic transmission. I'm sure the 6 speed can be messaged to fit. Im sure it won'tbe too long before DF also includes the manual transmissionas an option. :D

Will this work as a donor? Somebody outbid my before I win and my wife kills me!

Somebody put way too much money into that thing... Don't worry though, idk how much it'll go for, but definitely over $10k.
