I'm good with whatever. I think I already have that Friday marked as vacation in my work calendar but can change as needed.
This guy has the right idea. I'm also taking Friday off and have the weekend mentally bookmarked for car time.

Hope it's a good time, but it's one of the autocross weekends I have planned up in Oscoda. There's still a few events left, including the season closing event in October on the 4th through the 6th. Would be great to see some others out there racing too.

So.....we won't leave your house? Just fun cars in the driveway and puppies? I already said I'm in you don't have to sweet talk me.

I don’t think I am going to be able to make it. Water pump suddenly started leaking last weekend and I don’t know when I will get around to replacing It. It really ticks me off because I replaced it when I took the engine out of the cobalt!

Well that sucks. I think I saw someone was able to do theirs without pulling the motor

Hey, thats me! I did it with the motor in. One of the cover bolts won't come out all the way which means you can't replace the gasket. I do have a slight oil leak after but that's a problem for when the motor needs to come out. Unless you like magnet fishing with the help of a boroscope I recommend a magnetic socket ( I didn't use one and found I don't like magnet fishing) you'll need a sprocket holder as well which you are more then welcome to borrow if you are passing through the Clarkston area. I'm assuming the sc holder is the same as the tc holder I have but I'm not sure.

my sprocket holder will not fit (chassis interference). I have the whole circle one. Are you using the half circle or something else? I might just have to figure another way to hold the sprocket. Parts are coming in Tuesday so we will see how it goes…
