Need to clean up next. I obtained a new job, no longer door dashing, working for AutoZone now as a driver.

The disassembly guide told me to cut this wire however in the updated wiring harness video it's completely intact. What's up with that?
Yes, the video shows cutting this junction to the fuel pump and EVAP wiring. As I kept the EVAP system, I ended up drilling out the rivits and keeping the plug as some of the wires change colors to the plugs on the underside of this juntion.

In short, I would drill out the rivits and pull the bulkhead connector and keep with the wiring as it makes it easier to splice the lines if you need to later.

If you are not keeping the EVAP system, I thiink the splicing is possible with the underbody length anyway and the keep or not keep is not as important.

I looked up and glaced over what the EVAP is all about, I wont have to do emission testing for my goblin. So I guess I can get rid of it? Whats the benefits of keeping it?

Using latex gloves to unravel the tape. Very very sticky. I want to keep heated seats and accessory plugs.
I kept the accesorry plugs and put them in the tunnel in front of the shifter but many put below the instument cluster with a custom bracket. I also kept the seat heaters. Be mindfull that they are more complicated than a simple on off switch in the dash, so you will need the dash switches and make a bracket to hold them. In the end I ended up selling the stock seats and tucked the wires for the dash under the hood and rolled up the seat connectors behind the new seats so I can't say if what I did worked.

Good luck.

Oh, and don't forget to extend the Auto shift wires 10-12" It is in the first wiring videos but not in the latest.

Joe
ill look over that thank you

managed to unwrap the harness completely and my hands are extremely slimy and sticky. took me 15 minutes of washing to get them mostly clean. I accidentally cut a wire while working on it, went and soldered it back together and used shrink tubing on it.
