Think I found it from this picture........gray with blue seal and the one I labeled AC look to both be AC related.

Finally found a great diagram for the ground wires........along with using Toms picture from above I should be good to go. 2 connectors go to the AC.

Fuse box in place.

Tomorrows optimistic plan:

- Oil
- Trans fluid
- Finish radiator hoses
- Install battery
- Double check grounds
- Radiator fluid
- Install new fuel hoses
- Try for the first start!

Went to turn the engine over just to cycle the oil through the new engine....no go....whomp whomp.

No crank? Or no fire?

No crank, fuel pump is going, ground from engine to transmission is solid as is the body ground on the center tunnel. Both of those were cleaned down to bare metal.

No, I don't believe it will stop. That's normal. Again, I speaking from a SS/SC point of view.

Any dash indicators lit?

My fuel pump stops after a few seconds when in the run position (priming before turning to start position).

What about the pedal box ground? And the ground under the headlight harness in the main fuse box. That was my problem in the same condition. I had that black ground wire going into harness and it wouldnt crank. I had to splice it off and bring it to the engine ground on the block. Then it cranked

Just listened to the video. Yeah my pump definitely does not prime that long but I have an LT not a SC. Not sure if same. That shouldnt impact crank ability though. But may not have a sealed fuel route??

This may be a stupid question. But I assume their is enough gas in the tank that it's able to pull enough to completely prime?

No leaks from the fuel line. I checked the pressure at the release valve, good to go. I will add more fuel just in case.

Just removed and checked the pedal ground, took off some more paint. Still no change.

I will look into the headlight ground.

What does the throttle body butterfly do when you turn the key to the on point?

My fuel pump doesn't prime that long either. How's the dash lights look? Does your throttle body move with the pedal?

After turning to start pos key the butterfly "slowly" moves from closed to open. Zero Snap......
