We are running into an issue where the collapsible steering shaft is contacting the front firewall and not allowing a full rotation. Did anybody else run into this issue? I am planning to trim the opening wider to create clearance unless there is a better solution.

It's a common issue. You can trim the firewall or try to shim down the EPS unit depending on how much movement you need.

Yep, I did the same. Give it a little trim and call it good.

Hoping for some advice from fellow Michigan builders. Do I need the title to my donor to help register? Is it helpful or not a factor. Thank you.

I had mine and it was helpful. It saved me from paying taxes on items from the donor. Also it proved the parts were not stolen.

I don’t know about there, but here it helps to prove nothing was stolen.
