Oh man thank you. So you are saying measure 3.5 inches inside that tube that has the hole to mount it? I will do that as soon as I get home. Thank you. That shock screws into the bottom bracket, stick a measuring Tape up through the bottom and adjust until you have 3 1/2 “View attachment 17916 mine was way off View attachment 17915 had like 1”
Yes exactly, you turn the threaded shock part one way or another to get 3 1/2 “ on inside of mountOh man thank you. So you are saying measure 3.5 inches inside that tube that has the hole to mount it? I will do that as soon as I get home. Thank you.
Were they new lines to start with? Many new lines and fitting leak until you get a really good seat on them. Ours leaked after I had tightened them as much as I felt comfortable with without stripping them. But ended up loosening them and re-tightening them a couple of time to make a good "seat" and that took care of it.Got the brakes bled and the clutch bled. Found both front brake lines leaking very slightly on the front brakes where they meet the flex lines. I hope I don't need to replace those line already :-(
Not sure just may have to bite the bullet and take the brake fluid out and redo it :-(I wonder if the flex lines seated well.
I will try they then. Maybe just loosen em up and keep tightening with a different seat positionWere they new lines to start with? What not to do.What kind of tubing did everyone use to connect the brake/ clutch reservoir to the clutch master cylinder and the brake booster? I bought reinforced rubber fuel line but I dint think that will stand up to the brake fluid or pressure.
Oh no I am not talking about that tubing. I used the vacuum line provided and that worked fine. I'm talking about the compression fitting where the hard line connects to the stainless braided line. I think I got it by tightening the ever loving shi* out of it.You need EPDM tubing, by the way. Do not use fuel line or other rubber, brake fluid will degrade it. I got 10 feet of it from Tractor Supply for 8 bucks.
