The only problem with 3D printed parts on a painted frame is they're very slippery/slidey, so usually a little bit of "grip" (like electrical tape on the frame) is needed, however I use these mounts on mine.

DF also included some rivet-on brake line holders that they 3D printed, but I don't want to rivet mine on.

Yah that exactly why I bought them. I didn't want to deal with the rivet if thw brake line ever needs to be replaced.

Hey to each there own!! Thats the beautiful thing about people!! So many tastes and styles. I think its neat for sure i just hope for safety sake it is still structural!
