I think I have just black dampers and they are dirty. Seems like this silver stuff is some sort of grease or so.

QA1 requires antiseize on the shock threads to prevent galling and binding. If you don't plan to adjust the springs the excess can be wiped off - but needs to be reapplied if any adjustments are made in the future.
Anti-seize is good at it's job! It just happens to be good at attracting dust as well, and nobody wants a tub of Permatex Brand "Silver Dust Attractant: Formula #47" (that also prevents galling and seizure of metal to metal faces). It's just a thing with folks.o_O

Is that ironic? Should I get the Permatx Brand? I think they are also just very dirty. They need to be cleaned.

Painted the front brake discs! It looks so much nicer!

What is the easiest way to reduce/limit the power with HP Tuners? Just pull 10degree timing or is there a way to limit the throttle opening?

The calipers were painted already. I painted the discs. Will get some pictures as soon as I have the car out next time. In the garage the light isn't good enough.

Did you tape off the friction surface or just paint it all and then let the brakes rub off the overspray?
I sketched up the surface where the pads kept the disc rust free and the area where the rim sits on the disc and the disc on the hub. lasered it out of painters paper and sticked it on with some painters tape. It prevented 98% of a mess.

Are you missing a cotter pin on the tie rod end? I had to run a drill bit through mine to get the pin through the hole. Paint looks nice.

Yeah, looks like it. I have to take the nut off, I can't even see a hole in the screw. Maybe just covered or way to low.

How well does the factory 2.0L SC idle? I am happy with my idle, the needle in the instrument does not move at all. In the Scanner I see max -70 till +100 rpm fluctuations. I for sure can hear it. Fairly happy with the result right now. Just changed my complete tuning/logging method.
