I'm in Michigan as well, and getting ready to scrap the donor. Did you need to present the title of the Cobalt to SOS? Wondering if the scrappers would need me to surrender the title when I scrap the donor whole, or if I cut it up in pieces like you, I'd get to save the title for the registration of the Goblin.Went to SOS today and filed all my paperwork. Now to wait 8-12 weeks for a final inspection and title
Cut it up, don't bother with the state goonies and keep your title.I'm in Michigan as well, and getting ready to scrap the donor. Did you need to present the title of the Cobalt to SOS? Cool! What windshield option are you going with? I see that MI requires safety glass rather than plexiglassesOne step closer. View attachment 23830
I used the DF windshield. The cop that signed off on my TR54 didn’t care. He’s a good client of mine. Let’s up the final inspection is the same.Cool! What windshield option are you going with? I see that MI requires safety glass rather than plexiglasses
Do you have a suggestion on where to buy themTire's tread move around during cornering. The sidewalls flex.
I would buy spacers... 1/2" or 3/4".
Thank you. I can’t seem to find the cobalt listed. Anyway you can help me figure out which ones to orderI used these guys.
Ordered them. Cost was reasonable $90 each with studs to replace the hub studs. But then they were like oh it will be 3-5 weeks to make them unless you want to buy a “fast pass” and expedite your order to the front of the line for $100. Then we can have them to you next week.Custom Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings for your car! | Motorsport Tech (motorsport-tech.com)
They have the cobalt in their custom section.
Yeah, I've never dealt with them but have been looking at the options. There are other options, especially if you can just go thin enough for slip on spacers.Ordered them.
