V1 Bajakid1450’s ss 2.4 turbo track goblin build

Does anyone know how to do a throttle relearn? I tried one where you turn the key to on for 5 minutes and off for 30 seconds do this 3x but did not work. It is idling at 2500-3000 rpm and dips down to 1500.
Also shifter rods adjustment, I can get it to shift In to all the forward gears but grinds reverse and won’t engage
It should relearn the throttle on it's own over time. However, are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak? Our car did that once and come to find out the one of the hose-to-hardline on the vacuum line to the brake booster was leaking. This unmetered air will cause it to run really lean and at a high idle.

IF reverse is grinding, then the gears are still spinning. That isn't a shifter linkage adjustment problem, as the gears should be stopped. Is the clutch dragging? Are you not waiting long enough (a few seconds) before shifting into reverse? If the car is stopped, and the clutch engaged, the gears should spin down to 0 rpm pretty quickly.

Yup it’s gonna take a while tho, gr
I notice the air temp probe sticking through the plexiglass. Assume you will be modding up a centerline bar? This will be very interesting to see how it turns out. :)
yup gotta make a lower bracket the shape of the hood which is gonna be very time consuming the windows are 5/16” thick

Wrapped in 5d carbon fiber vinyl
I’ve been so busy lately and haven’t had much time to do anything on it so this is what I decided to do today and also installed the sunbrella top

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything.
My next question is I have a new f23 trans, I’m looking at getting a LDK or LNF long block from ZZP. What do I need to make this work like engine harness and direct injection fuel injectors stuff like that. Also what clutch and what flywheel. Can you tune a LE5 ecu to work with the LNF? If anyone has done this please chime in on your thoughts please.

im also installing kirkey 55 series seats and the new shifter but the cables are sooooo long because it is the standard frame and I think the shifter is made for the extended Frame I think…. Any thoughts on how to secure the cables up away from the ground

The difference between the port and direct injected heads, ECU, and harnesses is big enough that a conversion probably doesn't make sense. I'm no expert but I'm not sure that you can repin the ECM connector to drive the direct injectors or flash a tune to control them. I believe your general strategies would be to grab an ECM and harness from another donor (or junkyard), or to run your LE5 head on an LDK block. @Chris_WNC is doing something similar with a LAP (later 2.2) head on an LDK block.

With an '06 2.4 donor, I believe you have the earlier and stronger forged bottom end. I'd imagine you have a way to go before an LDK block will hold more power than the forged LE5. It might honestly be easier to just run a turbo on your existing setup?

The F23 should bolt right up to an LDK. I think you will need a new flywheel (6->8 bolt crank) but the clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, etc. will all work.

The only thing on the shifter that's frame length dependent is the tunnel cap, as far as I know. I can't speculate on cable length because I've not installed my new shifter yet but I could imagine the front mounting point is moved backwards?

If you purchase a crate motor instead of the long block it comes with the intake and exhaust side hardware, including the injectors and all engine sensors.
