V1 Bill's Street/Track Goblin - 2007 SS/SC - Chassis #204

For the AC pulley, I put the whole gutted unit back on. I just felt better with the three points of contact. I also used Chad's 3D printed plugs to fill in the holes shown here:

Anyone have information on the part number for the tensioner pulley? It feels/sounds really rough. The tensioner seems fine, just need to replace the pulley.

Ok, so I've started working on the wiring harness while waiting in a delivery from ZZP . . . And guess what came in today! ENGINE PARTS!!

Should have the engine put back together soon with a complete wiring harness sometime after that.

Got most of everything else cleaned up and or painted.

Slowly but surely. Should be ready by the time the frame gets here, which should be late June if all goes according to plan.

Made some good progress on the wiring harness this evening and stopped just before labeling and cutting off the body to dash harness. I ordered the wiring kit that DF provides and will just wait until that gets here.

How's the wiring shape around the fuse box look? The wire distances were a little different from the video as is the ECM itself.

In the mean time, I'll be replacing the valve cover gasket and getting the engine put back together.

Getting closer!! More to come!!

I'm replacing the pulley on the belt tensioner and I'm trying to figure out what to torque it down to. I see this:
Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Bolt
32 N·m
24 lb ft

Is this what I'm looking for? This seems a bit high for the bolts that mount the tensioner to the engine so that makes he think it's for the pulley bolt.

So, I got the valve cover off and it looks normal (I guess). The chain guide has a Cloyes-Renold stamp on it so it looks like it was changed out - let me know if that could have been OEM.

Otherwise, I'm putting this bad boy back on with a new gasket set.

Alright, I'm almost done with the wiring harness. I have a single left over wire. It's pink and goes to D7 on the red BCM multi-plug labeled "ignition 1 voltage". Should this wire have been cut out or did I mess something up?

The previous owner of my donor also had replaced the timing chain but did not update that timing chain guide bolt shown in the picture with your camshaft gears just under and to the right, its a big "allen bolt" it covers another 10mm bolt that snapped destroyed the guide it holds in, damaged a balance shaft gear and an oil squirter. You should check it now while you have a chance. If its not already done update it to this : https://zzperformance.com/products/ecotec-timing-chain-guide-bolt

That should be an extra ignition wire for Accessories You may add in the future, like USB ports, radio and such.

That’s what I did. I didn’t realize they were adding in the extra power wires, so I added my own. I have about 3 overall 1 is in the tunnel in case I wanted power near the shifter. I marked my harness with different color phasing tape (colored electrical tape), so I know where they are.
