V1 Joe's 2009 F40 SS/TC #470

More parts sold this weekend.
Seats.
Rear "axle" setup with calipers etc. Yes, I kept the tubes.
Exhaust. The piping was straight piped and some kid wanted it for his SS/SC. I guess he'll have to figure out how to make it work.

I swear at some point I will make my way to the front of the car and get to the good stuff.

At least your making some money on the parts.

Noooooooooooo!!! It happened to me!!!
The dreaded passenger floorboard subframe nut broke free and the bolt wont come out!
Ive seen it happen before but everything else has come off of this car so easily, i figured I was in the clear.

A minor setback really, but dang!

Other news, its a G85 car and I wont be using the F35, so that will recoupe some funds also.

Is the bolt all the way down and won’t come free or started spinning as soon as it broke loose? Mine I had to wiggle the control arms around to get free.
Did you buy a F35 transmission extra to upgrade?

Check the bolts they say...
Make sure its not already out they say...
Are you sure its stuck they say...

What an adventure. I just spent 6hrs cutting holes in the floor and chasing a "spun nut" in the passenger floor board of the subframe only to have a friend come over and work with me for 5minutes to tell me to tighten the bolt, I thought this odd, but complied. Wouldn't you know, the subframe tightened up against the body. No nut was spun, just a bolt that didnt fall when it was undone.

Im not mad. Ive spent time better, but Im not mad.

Removing the dash from the car.

So DF is doing my wiring harness, i dont have the space to open up the doors fully to get to the wiring harness inbetween the door and the a-pillar. Can I just cut the wires from inside? Would I be messing up DF?

Ross
The doors have a sub harness on the inside, that DF won't need... but the A pillar has that small screen with a few gauges on it... you will need that.
Do you have enough room to remove the doors? Just makes it easier getting in and out.

I was able to get the drivers door unplugged, but did not have enough room to access the passenger door plug inbetween the door and the pillar, had to cut those. I tried to keep as many connectors as I could so as to give DF as much to work with as possible.
