Well shoot. Aluminum magnets are on back order at the moment, so you’ll just have to take the engine apart and add stage 2 cams and a TVs to find the socket.
after replacing my worn tie rod ends for the front steering, I have squeaking/squealing again. it sounds like when you turn on a polished cement floor when the rubber squeals. but it even does it when I'm moving. the guy told me that the ends were greased when i got them but maybe he was wrong. does anyone else experience this?
Is the noise while turning the steering wheel or when the suspension is cycling? I would bet it's the other rod ends in the suspension or something in the rack and not the new steering rod ends, if both enter and out tie rod ends were replaced.
New question: I had to replace my fuel pump assembly that goes into the gas tank. The new one works well so far but I'm getting A LOT of gas smell when driving. I cant find any obvious leaks so my suspicion is that the gas is sloshing around and maybe getting out around the rubber O-ring. I want to make my own gasket and am wondering if anyone has had success with a good rubber/gasket material.
